Tony, born October 30th, 1967, in Spartanburg, SC, is the son of Clara Edna Wofford and the late Vernon Fred Ravan Sr. Tony was born and raised in Spartanburg, where he resided all his life.
Tony was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and was a devout Christian man. Before transferring membership to St. Paul, he was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church.
A graduate of Dorman High School’s Class of 1985, Tony continued his education at the University of South Carolina Spartanburg, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
He worked as a Travel & Expense Analyst at Mobile Communications America, Inc. at his time of passing.
Tony was an avid music lover, concert goer, and sports fanatic, often proudly adorned in either one of many tour shirts or representing his Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, Braves, or Carolina Gamecocks colors. He took pride in his lawn, his skills behind the grill, his extensive knowledge of history, stats, and fun facts, but took the most pride in his wife, two sons, daughter-in-law, and his nephews and nieces. He was a proud family man and a friend to all, making a tremendous impact in the lives of countless people and families.
