Anne Mooneyham Hayes

Our family celebrates the life of our beloved Mother, Anne Mooneyham Hayes, who peacefully entered her heavenly home in the early morning hours of June 12, 2026, at the age of 87.

She was born on November 7, 1938, to the late Roy E and Nell Powell Mooneyham. She lived a life marked by love, strength, grace, and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Raymond Hayes, who passed away in 2000.

She leaves behind her brother Ron; her loving daughters: Robin, Ronda and Renee; her cherished grandchildren: Heather, Baker, Charlee, Chris and Michael; and seven treasured great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.

After a long battle with dementia, she has now found perfect peace and rest. While we will miss her dearly, we rejoice in knowing that she is whole again and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. She was loved by so many and touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity and unwavering love. To her family, she was truly the best part of us all, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. You are cordially invited to join the family in celebration of a life well lived.

The family will be gathered at the family’s residence.
