Ann Turnage

Ann Marguerite Turnage, born May 29, 1954, the youngest daughter of Elmer Emmett Turnage and Aillen Patricia Holland Turnage, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2021 at the age of 67.  She was a member of Jesus our Risen Savior and a devoted Catholic.

Called “Grandma” by many, Ann will be remembered for the powerful way in which she loved. Those who knew Ann could always expect her to listen when they spoke and even when they had done wrong Ann’s forgiveness was instantaneous, judgment was nonexistent and her love would stand strong as a diamond, never chipped or damaged.

Ann lived life according to the teachings of Christ, always putting others above herself. Her passion in life was providing for and uplifting the ones she loved. Before her passing, Ann stayed with her dear friend, Laurie Towery, who the family would like to give a special thanks to for all she has done.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Ann Babb; her grandchildren, Robert Damon Lawson and Kelsey Chaniler Lawson; her niece, Cheri Alexander and her children, and many of her nieces and nephews with a profound love for all. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard Turnage, Ivan Turnage, Julian Turnage, Elmer Turnage, Patricia Hill and Rheba Walsh.
