ANDREW STEPHEN KIRBY, age 44  

August 12, 1981 - January 1, 2026

Born in Marietta, GA, August 12, 1981, Andy “Drew” Kirby was always an independent soul, living life fearlessly. He lived his life exactly how he wanted and never compromised.

He was a valued friend with a brilliant mind, and knowledge that exceeded the ordinary. With a dry wit and wry sense of humor, he was always willing to help anyone, any way he could.

Drew enjoyed working on computers and automobiles. His hobbies included photography and mineralogy. He could fix virtually anything. He enjoyed the outdoors hiking, especially the trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, NC. He was an avid bird enthusiast and animal lover having a cat named Duke and dogs, Katie, Fred and Gypsy. He enjoyed the music of the 70’s and 80’s, particularly the Beatles, Elton John and Fleetwood Mac.

He is survived by his parents, George and Victoria; his brother, Zachary; and an aunt and a cousin, Mimi and Stephanie

Andrew has left an irreplaceable emptiness in the hearts of friends and family who loved him so very dearly. He will be missed.
