Amy Christine Allison Tate, 52, of Boiling Springs died at her home. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on October 14, 1971, a daughter of Carol Robinson Seaburg of Jonesville and the late Larry O’Dell Allison.

 

She was a graduate of USC-Upstate School of Nursing and was a nurse at Mary Black Memorial Hospital and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church. She loved her grandchildren, working in her flower garden, reading and the beach. She was a member of the BWB’s # 6 (baby Amelia).

 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Alton Seaburg; daughter, Hannah Christine Derrick (Dalvonta Ballenger); son, Graham Christopher Derrick; grandchildren, Xane Ballenger and Xylan Ballenger; brothers, Wesley Seaburg (Katy Beth) and Brian Allison; stepbrother, Lee Seaburg (Robin); stepsister, Lisa Coggins (Scott); stepmother, Jennie Allison. She was predeceased by a stepsister, Sherry Durkin.

 

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Christopher Shawn Ingle.
