Alfonso Gutiérrez

Alfonso Guillermo Gutiérrez, 80, died on Sunday, February 21, 2016, in Parsippany, NJ. He was born in Mexico City on June 25, 1935, the eldest son of Alfonso Gutiérrez González and María Teresa Arberas de Gutiérrez. Mr. Gutiérrez graduated from Hargrave Military Academy, Chatham, Virginia, in 1956. He was an employee of Wissinger Chevrolet, Falls Church, Virginia, for many years and worked for Uniteller Financial Services of New Jersey until his retirement. He is survived by his son, Alfonso Gutiérrez and wife Kendall, of Rockaway, NJ; grandchildren, Austen and Corie Gutiérrez, of Marietta, GA; his brothers, Carlos of Spartanburg, SC and Eduardo of Ridgewood, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9:00-9:45 AM Friday, February 26, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Christian Burial Service will follow at 10:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David R. Whitman. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
