Adger Hamrick Miller, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, formerly of Gaffney, SC, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at White Oak Estates Spartanburg. Born November 4, 1921 in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Kester and Geneva Huskey Hamrick and the wife of the late Sam Miller for 59 years.

Adger was retired office manager for Sam Miller State Farm Insurance and worked for Harwood Beebee Co. She was a former member of Southside Baptist Church of Spartanburg and was the oldest member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church of Gaffney. Her love of Christ shined through her caring and service to others.

The last surviving member of her sibling family, she is survived by her two sons, Steve Miller and Bill Miller (Sharon), three grandchildren, Cameron Miller, Elizabeth Miller and Jennifer Richards, two great grandchildren, Carlee Richards and Cole Richards. She was also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Kay Humphries Miller, her brothers, Raymond Hamrick, Horace Hamrick, and Charles Hamrick, her sisters, Eloise Greene, Reba Scruggs, and Velma LeMaster.

A Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Martin Hogg and Dr. Wil Owens. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grassy Pond Baptist Church Building Fund, 254 Grassy Pond Road, Gaffney, SC 29341 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
