William "Bill" Edward Mostiler, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at his home after dealing with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer since 2014. Born November 14, 1942, a native of Clifton, SC, he was the son of the late George Emmit and Pearl Johnson Mostiler. A graduate of Cowpens High School, Mr. Mostiler served a tour of duty in the U. S. Until his illness, he supported the Cannons Community Food Pantry. He was a member of the Cannons Campground Ruritan Club and Woodmen Life, formerly Woodmen of the World. He especially enjoyed supporting the youth of the community by attending whichever games were being played at the time, football, basketball, or baseball; he could be found yelling his instructions to the coaches. Ready for a story or Friday night dinners with special friends, he leaves to cherish or smile at his memory, his wife of 53 years, Eileen "Who" Lewis Mostiler; his two sons, William Todd Mostiler and Timothy Edward Mostiler, both of Spartanburg, SC; his wife's great-niece, raised in the home, Rita Diane Lewis; grandchildren, Kyle Mostiler (Dawn) of Texas, Amie M.
