William Milovich

William "Bill" Milovich, 97, of Cowpens, SC, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, at his daughter and son-in-law's home. Born May 12, 1921, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Stevens Milovich and husband of the late Nellie Ranisov Milovich. A U. S. Marine veteran of World War II, Mr. Milovich was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He retired from Western Southern Life Insurance after 31 years of service in Detroit, MI. Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Milovich Peterson and son-in-law Jim Peterson of Cowpens, SC; grandchildren, Renee Lee Walsh (fiancé, Travis White), Josh Milovich, and Zachery Milovich; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Daniel Milovich of Kentucky and Pete Miller of Michigan. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, Timothy William Milovich; brother, Amil Milovich; and sister, Angie Hagar. A graveside service, with military rites, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 11, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Aid Society, 7375 Woodward Avenue #2700, Detroit, MI 48202. The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law.
