Sylvia Bowles

Sylvia Carol Gossett Bowles, 73, of Moore, SC died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 13, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late Jasper William and Patra Zimmerman Gossett and wife of the late Richard Glenn Bowles. Mrs. Bowles was retired from Milliken & Company after 23 years of service. She was a member of Legacy at Beaver Hills Church. Survivors include her sons, Corey Bowles and Eric Bowles both of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Kelsey, Elijah, Hunter, and Carter, and sister, Janice Gossett Dunn (Tommy) of Dahlonega, GA. She was predeceased by her sister, Judy LuRae Gossett. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will be at the graveside.
