Ruth Earnhardt

Miss Ruth Ladosca Earnhardt "Missy", 93, of Roebuck, SC, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 22, 1925, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Franklin Earnhardt, Sr. and Ruby Holden Earnhardt. Ruth was a charter member of Roebuck United Methodist Church and a former Sunday School teacher. She attended Coker College in Hartsville, SC, loved to paint, enjoyed traveling, and was past-president of Earnhardt Electric. Survivors include 15 nieces and nephews; 41 great-nieces and nephews; and 63 great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, C. F., Gene, Bob, Ed, Ray, Fred, Henry Earnhardt, and Marjorie Cairnes. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, December 21, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Jones L. Brewer and The Rev. David Ervin. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, 180 Oakwood Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
