Rose Minard

Rose Helen Carrier Minard, 84, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Born November 20, 1935, in Bristol, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Calloway and Julia Anna Boyd Carrier and wife of the late Dalton A. Minard Jr. Mrs. Minard was a former bookkeeper for J. L. Coker and Company in Hartsville, SC, and former president of the Women's Lions Club in Boiling Springs. She loved her family, loved to paint, and was a self-taught pianist. Survivors include her children, Karen A. Smith (Paul) and Marty Anders all of Spartanburg and Gerry Anders of Hartsville, SC; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and step-daughters, Debbie Hughes and Becky Minard both of Fort Mill, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Leslie Anders. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Cherokee Springs United Methodist Church, 2870 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A private burial will be held at a later date.
