Philip Sven Keenan, 75, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House from myelodysplastic syndrome. Born August 18, 1942, in Grand Rapids, MI, he was the eldest son of Sven Einar (Kinnunen) Keenan and Ruby Johnson Keenan. Raised in Ann Arbor, MI, he was a graduate of Michigan State University and received his MBA from the University of Michigan. During the Vietnam War he spent four years as commander of a Titan II ICBM unit in the U. S. Air Force. He taught for 28 years at Wofford College as associate professor of accounting. Phil is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Kay Stewart Keenan; and his brother, Frederick B. Keenan of Boulder, CO. No services will be held.
