Paul Murph

Paul Edward Earl Murph Jr., 76, of Greer, SC died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Prisma Health - Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Cowpens, SC on June 13, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul Edward Earl Murph Sr. and Gertrude Bradley Murph Smalley. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Murph was a self-employed automotive wholesaler and entrepreneur. A member of Destination Church of God, he was God fearing, honest, devoted to his family, fun loving, and a hard worker who loved motorcycles. Survivors include his wife Jennifer "Jen" Brady Murph; children, Brooke M. Parks (Daniel) of Greer, SC, and Scott E. Murph (Leith) of Inman, SC; granddaughters, Amanda Housand (Glenn) of Inman, SC and Cassidy Parks of Greer, SC; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Clare Housand of Inman, SC; sisters, Judy Harper (John L.) of Boiling Springs, SC and Sharon Cockrell of Roebuck, SC; brother, Bruce Murph of Boiling Springs, SC, and half sister, Brenda Murph. He was predeceased by his brother, Morris Murph. Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 PM Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services with full military rites by American Legion Post #28, will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by The Rev. Trey Thompson. Committal will be held inside with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. We ask that friends and family wear masks and keep social distancing per the Covid-19 precautions.
