Miranda Kay Sewell Brown, 57, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, February 15, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 22, 1963 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Joyce Gossett Daniel of Spartanburg and the late Joseph Edwin Sewell and second father, Reece Daniel. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, Miranda was a devoted stay-at-home mom and had a passion for taking care of many other children that were not her own. Survivors include her husband, Richard "Ricky" Ellis Brown; children, Jacob and Kayla Brown and Alysia and Andy Breitenbach; grandchildren, Morgan and Jake Brown, Micah, McKenna and Mason Breitenbach; sisters, Melodie and Ron Fulbright and Michelle and Sean Henderson, and numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held 1:30-2:30 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Eastside Baptist Church, 1850 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, funeral services following at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary conducted by The Rev. Johnny Bridges. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Jerusalem, 2432 Jerusalem Road, Pacolet, SC 29372.
