Keith Parsons

Keith Lester Parsons, 68, of Cowpens, died Sunday, Janaury 10, 2021, at Upstate Community Hospice. He was born April 13, 1952 in Spartanburg, SC, a son to late Elmer and Vivian "Oma" Hammonds Parsons. Keith was a member of Love Springs Baptist Church and was employed by Renfrow Brothers. He loved his family, his church, gospel music, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Cynthia Pettit Parsons; daughters, Jessica Parsons of Inman and Lindy Parsons of Cowpens; a grandson, Rodney "Tay" Alexander of Cowpens; brothers, James Parsons of Laurens, Gordon Parsons of Woodruff, Jeff Parsons (Brenda) of Inman, and Doug Parsons (Deanna) of Spartanburg; and sisters, Katherine Bogan of Gaffney and Joyce Price (Charlie) of Chesnee. He was predeceased by a brother, John Parsons; and a sister, Vivian Strain. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Ron Culbertson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Love Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 562 Sunny Slope Drive, Cowpens, SC 29330.
