Katherine Robinette

Mary Katherine Hill Robinette, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Skylyn Assisted Living-Spartanburg. Born October 26, 1927, in High Shoals, NC, she was the daughter of the late Julius Jenes Hill and Pearl Fleenor Hill and widow of Edward Burns Robinette. Mrs. Robinette enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting souvenir bells, and spending time with family. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Gary Robinette (Terry), Barry Robinette (Tonya), all of Spartanburg, SC, and Mike Robinette (Angela) of Woodruff, SC; grandchildren, Stacy (Marie), Caleigh (Britt), Brooke (John), and Jason; and great-grandchildren, Taftt, Kristan, Hannah, Cody, Jonathan, Susannah, and Kaylin. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Hershal Hill and Harold Hill; and sister, Virginia Linder. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 1, 2017, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, by the Rev. Norman L. Band. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency Southerncare Hospice, 818 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
