Joann Reynolds

Joann Wells Reynolds, 80, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 29, 1939 in Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late Ernest Wells and Sadie Smith Hart Wells. Mrs. Wells was a retired machine operator with Phillips Fibers and a member of Parkway Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Billy Sewell of Roebuck, SC; granddaughters, Kelly Brooks of Greenville, SC and Sommerset Sewell of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Bill Sewell and Dakota Sewell both of Spartanburg, SC; great-granddaughters, Michenzie and Michaela Brooks both of Greenville, SC; brothers, Terry Hart of Inman, SC and Freddy Hart of Spartanburg, SC, and sisters, Linda Nichols of Roebuck, SC and Claudette McKinney of Brownwood, TX. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by daughters, Darlene Parris and Brenda F. Kennedy; brother, Leroy Wells and sisters, Juanita Hostetler and Barbara Greg Skipper. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Parkway Free Will Baptist Church, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary conducted by The Rev. Mitch Edge. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg SC 29307. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Parkway Free Will Baptist Church, 3615 Parris Bridge Road, Spartanburg, SC 29316.
