Jessie Harwell

Jessie Paul Harwell, 75, of Inman, SC, died Friday, July 20, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 17, 1942, in Mooresville, NC, he was the son of the late Jessie Robert Harwell and Inez Rhinehart Childers. He was married to the late Jean Stephens Harwell for 49 years. Mr. Harwell was a member of Community Baptist Church, Mt. Mourne, NC, Poplar Springs Masonic Lodge, and was a Hejaz Shriner. He was also retired from ABF Trucking Company and farming. Surviving are his children, Doug Harwell (Karen) of Inman, SC and Denise Harwell (Cardinal Greenidge) of Boiling Springs, SC. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sisters, Cecelia Stroupe and Rebecca Harwell. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, July 23, 2018, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Reggie Parker. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
