Javon Brown

Javon Mathis Brown, 87, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Pacolet, SC, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Park Ridge Health-Hendersonville, NC. Born October 8, 1931, in Blacksburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Samuel Mathis and Venice Martin Mathis. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Jones of Gainesville, GA, Renee Wilkins (Marshall) of Easley, SC, and Donna Ertzberger (Randy) of Flowery Branch, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Wayne Mathis of Hendersonville, NC. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by Mr. Marshall Wilkins. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
