James Dunnaway

James William Dunnaway, 65, of Moore, SC died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 17, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Duncan Dunnaway. James worked in the maintenance department at Carolina Country Club and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his companion of over 20 years Doris Neal; sister, Linda Burgess of Moore, SC; brothers, Dennis Dunnaway (Dianne) and Ray Dunnaway (Janet) all of Pacolet, SC; stepsons, Bryan Neal (Samantha), Tommy and Jeff Cannon and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sons, James Dunnaway and Joe Dunnaway; daughter, April Dunnaway; sister, Dorothy Duncan and brother, Henry Dunnaway. No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
