Helen Harriger

Helen "Jean" Harriger, 96, a resident of Eden Terrace Spartanburg, formerly of Lakeland, FL and Sun City, FL, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Born January 31, 1925, in Robinson Township, PA, she was the daughter of Pete and Blanche Sandusky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Harriger. Mrs. Harriger was retired from PNC Corporation. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Hyatt of Lakeland, FL and Debbie Roberts (Mickey) of Spartanburg; son, Kenneth R. Harriger; four granddaughters, Melissa Kirby (Todd) of Greenville, SC, Lindsay Queen (Garrick) of Columbia, SC, Susanne Jackson (Darrell) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Jennifer Thomasson of Lakeland, FL, nine great-grandchildren and, her feline child, Katre. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
