Elsie Beach

Elsie Lou Emma Fowler Beach, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her home. Born July 9, 1931, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late B. O. and Mary Ellen Cash Fowler and widow of Samuel Harvey Beach. She was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, George F. Beach (Bobbie) of Spartanburg, SC, Becky Beach and Raymond H. Beach (Amy), all of Roebuck, SC; grandchildren, Angie Rogers (Mitchell), Jason and Kevin Beach, Ashley and Wyatt Beach; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the 9th child of 11 children and was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Slatton, the Rev. Kenneth Cash, and the Rev. Joey Burnett. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
