Dwan Thomas

Dwan Timmons Thomas, 79, of Spartanburg, SC died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her home. Born August 13, 1941 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Otis Ledford Timmons and Karen Timmons Allen and wife of 62 years to the late Jack William Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Cowpens who loved her family and church. Survivors include her son, Perry Thomas (Chris) of Spartanburg, SC; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; sister, Gaye Wilson (Patrick) of Spartanburg, SC and best friend, Pat Emory. In addition to parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Robyn Thomas and brother, Larry Timmons. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Steven Griffith. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church, 650 Battleground Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
