Dutch Browning, 80, of Tryon, NC, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at his home. Born November 30, 1938, in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of the late Fred Ray and Louise W. Brown. A U. S. Air Force veteran, Dutch was the owner/operator of Browning Detective Agency and also a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Claudette Browning of the home; sons, Jeff Brown of Seneca, SC and Stephen Brown of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his loving sister, Carolyn of Seneca, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2019, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Andy Case.
