Carmen Turner Griffey, 41, of Mauldin, SC, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, at her home. Born August 20, 1977, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Sammy Huey Turner (Ruth) and Martha Elizabeth Turner of Spartanburg, SC. She attended Abner Baptist Church of Spartanburg. In addition to her parents and step-mother, survivors include her children, Brittany, Rihanna, and Herbie; and sister, Marie Howard of Spartanburg, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 17, 2019, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Jim Thomas. Visitation will be at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Abner Baptist Church, 562 Andre Lane, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
