Bill Calvert

Bill Calvert, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 1, 1936, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Vaeden and Kathleen Stevens Calvert. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Calvert enjoyed drag racing. He retired from Kuster Corporation and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Frances Seay Calvert; son, Danny Ray Calvert of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Dallas Calvert (Amy) of Valley Falls, SC; and great-grandsons, Jackson, Carter, and Alden Calvert.
