Betty Revels

Betty Andrews Revels, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, August 27, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 27, 1931, in High Shoals, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Nina Stroud Andrews. Betty loved her family and enjoyed fishing, painting, and traveling. She was a member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church, the "Stop the Violence" organization in Una, and volunteered in the Soup Kitchen. She was retired from Wilson World Hotels. Survivors include her children, Linda Fletcher (Aaron) of Boiling Springs, SC, Marvin Revels of Arcadia, SC, Cathy Ridings (Charles) of Spartanburg, SC, Gene Revels (Pam) and Libby Crowe (Keith), all of Arcadia, SC; stepson, Donnie Rollins (Lisa) of Una, SC; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bevin Andrews (Edna) of Irmo, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two grandsons, Robbie and Rusty Revels; and a brother, Gene Andrews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Una First Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Una First Freewill Baptist Church, by The Rev. Kenneth Cash. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Una First Freewill Baptist Church, 2130 Caldwell Rd., Una, SC 29378. The family is at the home of Cathy & Charles Ridings.
