Barbara Crocker

Barbara "Tootie" Nichols Crocker, 70, of Converse, SC, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 25, 1948 in York County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Saye Jennings and Helen Blackwell Nichols. Tootie was a faithful member of Converse Baptist Church, a member of the church choir and Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved the Lord, her church, her husband, her family and her many friends. She love to sing, had a beautiful smile, a warm, giving heart, and a special love for the elderly. She was retired from Maranatha Manor. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Johnny Ray Crocker; son, Jeffery Todd Crocker of Drayton, SC; granddaughter, Amber Shay Crocker; step grandson, Tyler McGraw; sisters, Doris Thomas of Hickory Grove, SC; Janice Cash (Kenneth) of Cowpens, SC; brothers, Saye Nichols, Jr. (Norma) of Clifton, SC; and Shirley Nichols of Cannons Campground. She is also predeceased by a sister, Joann Dale; brothers, Robert Nichols and Ray "Pete" Nichols; and daughter in law, Bridgete Crocker and brother in law, Curt Thomas. Visitation will be 2:00 - 2:45 PM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Mike Davis and The Rev. Norman Philbeck. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home of Johnny Crocker.
