B. Sumner

Boyce Callie Sumner, 80, of Pauline, SC, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home. Born December 6, 1938 in Pauline, SC, he was the son of the late Sum McGowan and Lillie Smith Sumner and the widower of Shirley Louise Skinner Sumner. Callie was retired from Draper Corp after 23 years of service as a molder, then worked as a Trade Specialist II with the SCDOT for over 13 years. He was a longtime member of Friendship Baptist Church. His heart always was that of a farmer and cattleman. He loved and was devoted to his family, farm, friends, and community. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly S. Bryant (Ricky) of Pauline, SC; a son, Mack C. Sumner (Lori) of Pauline, SC; granddaughter, Jennifer Caldwell (Ben) of Pauline, SC; and grandsons, Kyle Anderson, Cole Sumner (Bonnie), and Mackenzie Sumner, all of Pauline, SC; great grandchildren, Skyler, Landon, Cameron, Jaxson and Allie. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church, 830 Friendship Church Road, Pauline, SC 29374, conducted by The Rev. Brian Harris and The Rev. Carroll Caldwell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kindred Home Health Care, 905 E.
