Armand Perry Johnson, 75, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born December 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Harry Nelson and Edith Perry Johnson. Armand owned A & B Aquarium & Sports for 45 years and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Armand was an avid fisherman and loved upland bird hunting. He was well known for making fishing lures, especially "The Hicky" which was his top lure. Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie Beth James (Scott) of Buffalo, SC; his sons, Lance Kevin Johnson (Lauren) of Boiling Springs, SC and Vance Armand Johnson (Renee) of Mandeville, LA; granddaughters, Emily and Caroline Johnson, both of Mandeville, LA; and his brother, Wofford Johnson of Tampa, FL. He was also predeceased by a brother, Sonny Johnson. Services will be private.
