Arlene Tokarz

Arlene Marie Tokarz, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness-Spartanburg. Born December 11, 1934, in Fairmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Thomas Tokarz and Margaret Marflake Tokarz. Arlene retired from teaching at East Fairmont High School, Marion County School System in Fairmont, WV. She received her BA Degree from Duquesne University and Master's Degree from West Virginia University. She was selected to attend a symposium on Russia at Vanderbilt University. Survivors include her brother, Anthony P. Tokarz (Joan) of Bristol, RI; sister, Elaine T. Dorlon of Spartanburg, SC.; niece and nephews, Dr. Kyle Tokarz (Dr. Valerie Tokarz), Dr. Margaret Elaine Dorlon (Dr. Zeke Walton) and Robert E. Dorlon III; and great-nephews, Ayden and Mason Tokarz. A Celebration of Life service in Spartanburg, SC and funeral services in Fairmont, WV, will be announced at a later date.
