Vivian Petrie

Vivian V. Petrie, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 1, 1929, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Curtis R. Nappier and Ruby Larue Smith Nappier. Survivors include her children, Barbara Satchell and Wayne Gowan; sisters, Patsy Blackmore and Sylvia Wolford; grandchildren, Jason Ogle (Kristy), Stephanie Price (Jim) and Joshua Ogle; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James R. Petrie. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with visitation following at the graveside.
