Sherrill Praytor

Sherrill Lynn Praytor, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, August 7, 2017, at Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute. Born July 19, 1950, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Johnnie Mae Crowder Sosbee. Sherrill was a member of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church and active with the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jackie Ray Praytor; son, Jeffrey Ray Praytor (Vonda) of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Brandon and Corey Praytor; great-granddaughter, Cheyanne Praytor; and brothers, Steve Sosbee (Angie) and Butch Sosbee (Patricia), all of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, August 11, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kevin Smith. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
