Robert Silverstein

Robert Bryon Silverstein, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, June 2, 2017. Born June 29, 1930 in Binghampton, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Lawrence and Evelyn Sickler Silverstein. He was the widower of Penny Money Silverstein. Mr. Silverstein was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Wakefield Buick, after 30 years. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed golf, fishing, and billiards. Survivors include his daughter, Julie Medlock (Todd) of Inman, son, Jeffrey Silverstein of Spartanburg, grandson, Aldon Medlock (Jenny) of Inman, great grandson, Kylen Medlock and brother, Lawrence Silverstein of Midland, MI; four nieces and two nephews. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by a son, Robert Jay Silverstein. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial with Military Rites will be at a later date.
