Pauline Bradley Ramantanin, affectionately known as "Polly" and "Yia", 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, August 25, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 24, 1918, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Venia Belcher Bradley. A member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Polly was employed with Butte Knit for 20 years and The Pantry in Boiling Springs, SC for 18 years. She was also a member of the ILGWU-International Garment Workers Union. Survivors include her daughter, Eva R. Poteat (Ray) of Wellford, SC; son, John A. Ramantanin (Paulette) of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, A. John Ramantanin II (Merissa) of Inman, SC, Jason Ramantanin (Carmen) of Albemarle, NC, Ted A. Roussos of Wellford, SC, and Litsa R. Sinclair (Robert) of Wellford, SC; great-grandchildren, Karis Ramantanin, Ian Spencer "Buddy" Ramantanin, Neely Ramantanin, Alle Sinclair, and Olivia Sinclair; and sister, Hazel Farmer of Inman, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Della Bradley, Rose Poteat, Blanche Estes, and Lula Huntley. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 30, in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 1551 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303, by her nephew, the Rev. Randy Horton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rice Bowls Inc., 951 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302; or Safe Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition, 236 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
