Mickey Creach

Mickey Lee Creach, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 8, 1939, in Pamplico, SC, he was the son of the late Fred and Bessie Gopfert Creach. A U. S. Air Force Reserves veteran, 1964 graduate of Clemson University and longstanding member of IPTAY, Mr. Creach was employed with Milliken & Company and retired from Inman Mills. He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Union, SC and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carol Jones Creach; children, Bryan Creach, Robert Creach, and Kevin Creach, all of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mike Todd (Lori) and Lisa Epps, all of Union, SC; three grandchildren, Collin Creach, Laura Leigh Todd, and Andy Epps; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Brynlee, and Chloe Epps; and brother, George Creach of Shelby, NC. A service honoring his memory will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 309 Fernwood Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Dale Rawlings and The Rev. Robert Alexander. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 119 Eastwood Circle, Spartanburg, SC 29302 or online at www.diabetes.org. The family is at the home.
