Jane Pridgeon

Frances Jane Lineberger Pridgeon, 69, of Spartanburg, SC passed October 24th, 2017 at her home. Born September 6, 1948, in Greenville County, SC she was the daughter of the late Earle McCorkle and Frances Gallivan Lineberger. Jane graduated from Greenville High School in 1966. She attended Bauder College of Design in Atlanta where as Miss Georgia competed in the Miss USA pageant. She raised four children while finding great joy in jewelry design, gardening, interior decorating, and cosmetology. Survivors include her husband, Douglas L. Pridgeon; sons, Josh A. Workman of Duncan, SC, Joseph L. Workman of Chicago, IL, Brian D. Pridgeon of Greenville, SC; daughters, Liza Workman Johnson (Alex) of Denver, CO and Lauren Pridgeon Overby (Joe) of Smyrna, GA; six grandchildren; sister, Susan McCall Lineberger of Greenville, SC; brothers, Earle McCorkle Lineberger Jr. (Lyn Welborn) of Ninety Six, SC and Arthur Henry Lineberger of Pawley's Island, SC; and close friend, Pamela Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jesse Daniel Workman; and sister, Jessie Lineberger Sitton A memorial service honoring her life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church, 393 E. Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29302, by The Rev Joanne Hull. Visitation will follow in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of Doug Pridgeon.
