Harold Holcomb

Harold Edward Holcomb, 83, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 30, 1934 in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late William Shuford and Edith Lovelace Holcomb. Mr. Holcomb was a veteran of The U.S. Army. Harold was a supervisor at Kohler for 39 years and was a patient representative with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for 18 years. He was a member of Northbrook Baptist Church and was a Mason with Clifton Lodge # 215. Working in his shop, playing his guitar and doting on his grandchildren was what he loved the most. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Tilda Holcomb; daughter, Sharon Davis (Terry) of Union, SC; son, Stephen Holcomb of Cowpens, SC; granddaughter, Kyla Davis of Union, SC; grandsons, Brandon Holcomb of Boiling Springs, SC; Donald Holcomb of Cowpens, SC; Hunter Davis of Nashville, TN; and Mark Davis of Union, SC; and brothers, Raymond Holcomb of Inman, SC and Gary Holcomb of Wellford, SC. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Warren Holcomb. Visitation will be 1:00 - 1:45 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Benny Greene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Connie Maxwell Children's Home, 810 Maxwell Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
