Guynell Dimsdale

Guynell Jesse Burrell Dimsdale, 86, of Jonesville, SC, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 24, 1931 in Buffalo, SC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Laura Vaughn Burrell. She was the widow of Raymond Dewey Dimsdale, Sr. Mrs. Dimsdale loved her family so much that she spent her life as a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lee Edwards (Phillip) of Pacolet; son, Bobby Dean (Jodi) of Jonesville; daughter in law, Charlene Dimsdale of Jonesville; 26 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, and 32 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sons, Raymond D. Dimsdale, Jr. and Calvin Ray Dimsdale, daughter, Nancy Knighten, granddaughter, Christine Cudd; grandson, Jamey Hill; five sisters, and three brothers. Visitation will be 2:30 - 3:30 PM Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
