Daniela Gonzalez-Alvarado

Daniela Gonzalez-Alvarado, 10, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Born April 29, 2007, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Simon Gonzalez and Maria Isabel Alvarado-Trejo. As a former student of Shoally Creek Elementary School, she was a rising fifth grader to Boiling Springs Intermediate School. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Daniela never met a stranger and her heart was filled with such love that she always wanted to help others. She was always smiling, as she was a humble and well-mannered little girl. Along with her parents, she was also survived by a brother, Alexander Martinez Alvarado, sister, Jennifer Martinez-Alvarado, and step-father, Rosendo Martinez, all of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 6:00 PM Monday, July 24, 2017 at The Catholic Church of Jesus, Our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301, conducted by the Rev. Edgardo Enverga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Hospital of Greenville, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 290 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
