Colleen Andrews

Colleen McGarity Andrews, 89, of Arcadia, SC, died Friday, March 23, 2018, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum, SC. Born November 11, 1928, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Alex Andre McGarity and Elizabeth Eve Hughes McGarity and widow of Edward Eugene Andrews. Mrs. Andrews was a member of First Baptist Church Arcadia and retired from Raycord. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Taylor (John) of Arcadia, SC, Becky Smith (Dean) of Gastonia, NC, and Lisa Morrow (James) of Spartanburg, SC; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Scottie Andrews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at First Baptist Church Arcadia, 241 Spring Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301, by The Rev. Joey Burnett. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385.
