Christie Cudd

Nancy "Christie" Christine Knighten Cudd, 45, of Spartanburg, SC, died June 1, 2017, at her home. Born December 19, 1971, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of Arthur "Buddy" Leroy Knighten of Pacolet, SC and the late Nancy Ann Dimsdale Knighten. Mrs. Cudd was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God. She loved camping, being at the lake, making those around her happy, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. In addition to her father, surviving are her husband of 27 years, Michael Shay Cudd Sr.; children, Tiffany Richardson (Jovan) of Pacolet, SC, Crystal Cudd of the home, Lisa Cudd of Pacolet, SC, and Michael Shay Cudd Jr. (Amy) of Spartanburg, SC; god-daughter, Taylor Boyter; beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Jeremiah, Shydiamond, Hannah, Holden, Hunter, Alyssa, Presley, Paisley, and Benny; sisters, Becky Stafford of Pacolet, SC and Diane Cudd (John) of Gaffney, SC; and brother, Matthew Goode of Pacolet, SC. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM-12:30 PM Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Hutchins. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
