Cecil Ernest Colley, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 21, 1936, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Ernest Webb and Hannah Belle Hollyfield Colley. Mr. Colley loved the Lord and going to gospel sing-alongs. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and NASCAR racing. He was employed with Pioneer Fish Camp. Survivors include his children, David Colley and JoAnn Taylor; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Jolley and Genell Lewis; and brother, Don Colley. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, April 20, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Benny Green. Burial will be in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, 1302 Little Mountain Rd., Wellford, SC 29385. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family is at the home of his daughter, JoAnn Taylor.
