The J.F. Floyd Mortuary

The business is operated today from a central location at 235 North Church Street. It occupies the old home place which had been moved from its original location and added on to several times to accommodate the needs of a growing, full service funeral operation. Most Funeral Arrangements and body preparations are handled at this central location.

Downstairs, the home-like but elegant Sitting rooms and State rooms provide families comfortable surroundings when making Funeral Arrangements and for Visitations. The funeral chapel accommodates upto 300 people comfortably and provides the family a private entrance and sitting area should one be preferred.

Upstairs and elevator accessible, Families find an elegant but spacious Selection Room offering 30-35 caskets and over 15 burial vaults to choose from, offering something for families of all means and abilities. Approximately 60 caskets are also inventoried for easy access in the warehouse area behind the Selection Room. In addition, the upstairs houses an OSHA-compliant and modern preparation area with separate facilities for hairdressers and cosmetologists.

	Casket Selection Room   The Casket Selection Room at North Church Street offers 30 - 35 full size caskets in comfortable surroundings to make a difficult decision a little bit easier.
	Vault Selection Wall    The Burial Vault Wall at North Church   Street displays the many vault choices in a format designed to inform and explain the various types and styles available.

FROM GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (I-85 NORTH)

I-85 North from Greenville - Exit onto I-85 Business (Exit 69) Freeway Loop - Take Exit 4 (Hearon Circle) - Turn right onto Asheville Hwy (Hwy 176 toward Spartanburg) - Follow Hwy 176 until it joins into Hwy 221 or N. Church Street - Continue straight until the Marriott Hotel on the left - 1st building past Marriott Hotel is the J. F. Floyd Mortuary.


FROM CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (I-85 SOUTH)

Off I-85, take Exit #69 (Business 85) to Exit #5 (I-585) which is also Pine Street - Go toward Spartanburg - At the 5th traffic light, take a right onto Daniel Morgan Avenue - Go to the 1st traffic light and take a left onto North Church Street - The J. F. Floyd Mortuary is 2nd building on left (next to Marriott Hotel).


FROM COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA (I-26 WEST)

Take I-26 West to Exit 28 (Roebuck, Moore, Walnut Grove exit). Bear right onto Highway 221 going toward Spartanburg - Go through 16 traffic lights - After passing under the 16th traffic light (at corner of St. John St.), the J. F. Floyd Mortuary is 3rd building on the right.


FROM ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (I-26 EAST)

Off I-26 East, Exit at Highway 176 (Inman/Spartanburg Exit) - Follow signs toward Spartanburg - Go past North Spartanburg First Baptist Church - Continue on Highway 176 for approximately 1/2 mile, bear left at fork in road - Cross By-Pass I-85, USC Upstate, Business I-85, Milliken and Company - Go to 5th traffic light and turn right onto Daniel Morgan Avenue - Go to first traffic light and take a left onto North Church Street - The J. F. Floyd Mortuary is 2nd building on left (next to Marriott Hotel).
